Sturtevant Chapel Ministries

  • C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Groups (Christ-Oriented Network for Nurturing, Equipping, Caring and Teaching) - Nothing brings more warmth and comfort than meeting in a home with other people who know and care about you. That is why we at Sturtevant want to offer a time and a place, near you, that allows practical help and instruction from God’s Word and an opportunity for spiritual growth, along with a time of prayer and encouragement from others.  If you are interested in learning more, see the list at the bottom of this page, or contact the church office @ 357-3430.

  • Worship Team - "Oh sing to the Lord a new song!  Sing to the Lord, all the earth.  Sing to the Lord, bless His name; proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.” Psalm 96:1-2  We thank the Lord for blessing us with many gifted and godly singers and musicians.  Providing an atmosphere of praise and worship to the Lord through song and scripture is a vital ministry of Sturtevant Chapel.  Whether it is by singing contemporary praise songs led by the worship team or enjoying the rich depth of great hymns of our faith, we are committed to offering a weekly time of sincere praise and thanks to God for all of His goodness and grace to us.  Contact Aaron Russo - Minister of Music.

  • Sunday School - Preparing kids, youth, married, divorced or single adults in the community to make decisions based upon the Word of God and to face everyday challenges of living in the 21st century is a key role of the local church. A weekly classroom setting that encourages discussion and offers a time to learn more about the practical truth of the Bible and grow alongside one’s peers is what SC Sunday School is all about. Sunday 10:15 am Contact Holly Calhoun - Sunday School Superintendent.

  • Jr. Church - From toddlers-to-tikes Jr. Church provides a fun and safe place for kids to learn more about Jesus. • JV - A whole night geared for any and all in Jr. High. This program offers an opportunity for interaction with peers and insight from leaders. The goal of JV is to teach young people that the Word of God is powerful and practical enough to help them face the challenges of growing up in today’s world. Students grades 7-8. Friday 7:00 pm Contact Tom & Linda Heath - JV Leaders   Click here to visit our youth page!

  • Sr. High - There is no greater time to teach and reach youth than today! If it means stuffing the church van for a snow boarding trip, slugging it out in a paint ball war or singing their hearts out with their own worship band…young people need to get together to learn more about the Lord and see how HE can help them with what is ahead.

This ministry is a priority at Sturtevant Chapel!  Students in grades 9-12 Friday 7:00 pm.  Check out the “Youth Calendar” to see what’s up next or contact Pastor Ryan @ ryan@sturtevantchapel.org.   Or, visit the youth website by clicking here!

  • College Career - More than six thousand students on three campuses in and around Keene are looking for intelligent answers to the most important questions in life…

Why am I here? What am I doing? Where am I going? Being challenged to think for themselves and dig deep in search for answers from the truth of God’s Word in a real yet relaxed way is what this ministry is all about.
